Batman Bicycle License Plate

I've got a Batman bicycle license plate that i've kept over the years and was wondering if anybody else has ever seen one.
I'm 41 now, and have had it as long as i can remember, so it's probably at least 30 years old.
I have shown it to some people and asked a lot of people over the years and no one has ever seen another one.
