It's a "wheatie"? Not to my knowledge. There are still too many of them in circulation and in existence. (I have a piggy bank full of them.) Hold on to it for another 25 years and maybe..............

Whether it is worth much value at all greatly depends on the condition of it, also wear it was minted and the number of them that were minted. If it is uncirculated of even not, it is not advisable to hold it or any collectible coin for that matter on it's face or the back (obverse and reverse.) If it is one of the very, very rare 1944 pennies that is made of steel, then it could have great value indeed. But again, it does depend on it's condition.

What you find on the following sites may also be helpful to you. I hope that they are. If your coin is truly uncirculated, then it's value may be somewhat more than the listings that you find, but not much more.
