1928 Silver Certificate Notes - Where can I get valuation?
Hi All you US Note Guru's... I just received some old 1928 & 1935 US Silver Certificates and would like to sell them ... maybe on Ebay? or? What is the criteria that I should list so that bidders will know exactly what is being offered? Any FREE advice available on-line for starting values? Here is what I have noticed on the notes:
Date: 4ea 1928B Signatures: N.O. Woods & ???, fold, creases and some wear marks, G376 & B185 & J385, J502, Blue seals, reverse 2607, 2515, 2750, 2329.
Date: 1934 Signatures: W.A. Julian & Henry Morganthou Jr, " , J12, Blue seal, reverse: 2398.
Date: 1935G Signatures: Elizabeth Smith & C. Doyle Dillon , " ,R8319, Blue seal, reverse: 6818 "In God We Trust"

1928B Woods-Mills Blue Seal ABP $6.00 good $12.00 V.fine $18.00 Unc $100.00
1934 Julian-Morgenthau Blue Seal ABP $6.50 Good $13.00 V.Fine25.00 Unc $145.00
1935G Smith-Dillion Blue Seal ABP $1.80 Good $5.00 V.Fine $10.00 Unc $50.00
as for what you should list take a clear photo of the notes things like folds and wear will decrease the value but as a buyer on ebay I often rely on the photo hope this helps
VK4AN - Here are the 2008 book values on paper money ,( THE 1935G VF-20 $5.oo--Up to $30.00) ( UNC-63, -$12.50 up to $200.00 ) DEPENDS WHAT NUMBER IT IS AND CONDITION> Note- on the 1935G the prase ( IN GOD WE TRUST ) First came out.::;;1928B- Woods& Mills, - ( VF-20- $25.00 up to 4@00.00:: UNC-63 - $60.00 up to $1,000 ,) ;;( The 1934- JULIAN- MORGENTHAU - ( VF-20- $20.00 up to $75.00 ) ::::
( UNC- 63 - ( $ 60.00 up to $ 650.00 ) these prices are depending on the condition & the number on then , if the number is followed by a ( . -DOT ) IT is the lowest price ) IF it is followedf by a ( * ) IT is the highest price .( Example- 2607. A note that is badly worn, with margin or body tears, frayed margins, and missing corners. ) VERY GOOD _{VG):VG-8: (VG10)A note that has considerable weraor circulationand may be limp ,soiled, or dark in appearance,and might even have a small terr or twoon an edge.) ( Fine (F) : F121 & F15} A fine note shows evidence of much morecirculation and has lost its cristness and very fine detail and creases are more pronounced , although the note is still not seriouslysoiled,or stained.)::VERY FINME- (VF) (VF-20, VF25, VF-30 , VF-35) { A note that has been in circulation but not actively or for long. It still retains some cristmess and is still choice enough in its conditionto be altogether desirable. It may show folds or creases, or some light smudges from the hands of a past generation.Sometimes ,VERY FINE NOTES are the best available in certain rare issues, and they should accordingly be cherished just as much as UNCIRCULATED Notes.) : EXTREMELY FINE ( EF) <(EF-40,& EF-45 ) { A note that shows some faint evidence of circulation, although it will still be bright and retain nearly full cristness. it may have two or three minor folds or creases but no tears or stains and no discolorations.::: ABOUT UNCIRCULATED - ( AU) (AU-50,55, 58) ( A bright crisp note that appears new but upon close examinationshowes a trace of very light use, such as a corner fold or faint crease. About UNCIRCULATED as a borderline condition, applied to a note that may not be quite UNCIRCULATED but yet is obviously better then average Extremely fine note .such notes command a price only slightly below a new note and are highly desirable. ) ::: ABOUT UNCIRCULATED- ( UNC) & ( UNC-60) { A note that Showes no trace of circulation. It might not have perfect centering and might have one or more pinholes, counting smudges, or other evidenceof improper handling , while still retaining its orignalcristness. Sometimes large- size notes will be encountered which are obviously UNCIRCULATED, but which have some small pinholes. IT was customary in the old days to spindal or pin new notes together, and that is why so many UNCIRCULATED notes might show tiny pinholes .SUCH imperfections do not generally impair the choice apperance of a new note, and such notes are to be regarded as being in UNCIRCULATED condition , althoughthey generally command slightly lower prices then notes in perfect condition. Next is CHOICE UNCIRCULATED ;;;; F.B.E.
