| Just know this Jon...if you have received Christ as your savior and accepted Him into your heart if you slip and it does happen, you are forgiven! You DO NOT have to ask for forgiveness it is already there. And you will not go to hell. Don't get stuck in the trap of bondage held by satan that says "your God is unjust if you sin He won't love you anymore". However, do ask for forgiveness, confess your sin to God and then do exactly what He will do, forget it and move forward. One of the reasons God does not want us to sin is because sin separates us from Him, He wants us closer to Him not farther away. Closer or farther away in terms of our personal relationship with Him, not from salvation. Our salvation is already guaranteed when we accept Him into our hearts.
God has convicted you (tugged on your heart and said I don't want you to do this). Just as any parent who knows what is best for you would do. And you have chosen to listen and that is great. Continue to ask for God to help you both overcome your desires and just be very aware of the situations you allow yourselves to be in. And know that like very good Parent God is the greatest parent and will not love you less or "send you to hell" if you fall down. |

| The bases of fornication is found 36 times in the KJV of scripture. In every verse it is referanced to be in worshipping of idols, blood sacrifices to idols, false teaching, and adultory.
Note scripture KJV 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
Now there is one verse that uses the word strange flesh.. This strange flesh meaning in Greek is a person not of the same nature, form, class, kind, different... Such as going after someone that worships differently, or has customs that are indifferent to what you believe is correct. Also note that stranger in Proverbs is usually referancing a person that follows idol worship. KJV Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
So is premarital sex= fornication? No I don't believe it is..
Premarital sex can lead to other sins.. Such as taking advantage of someone. Or hurting yourself, hurting someone else, and hurting a child conceived. Remember you reap what you sow.. |

| Premarital sex can be a sin. Marriage is a creation of human law, not God's law. If two people have sex simply because it feels good and is fun, then it is a sin. But if two people are in a 100% committed relationship to each other with the intention of being together forever, raising a family, etc, then premarital sex is not a sin.
This is my interpretation. I pray that God will forgive me if my interpretation is wrong. |
