    Beard requirements in religion
    Why do some religions require men to have beards and women to never cut their hair?

    This could be about Sikhs,because as far as I know, they do not cut their hair/beard ever(at least those who adhere to the strict rules).

    I do not know about the beard requirement in some faiths, but I do know that some Pentecostal relgions (and others) believe that the woman should have long hair, as that is her "covering."
