I want to live with my mom

I need advice on what to do I am going to be 15 this year.
I have lived with my mom every other week and my dad every other week for 9 years.
i don't want to do this anymore but my dad won't listen to me or my mom, he doen't care and makes me go anyway. what do i do to not have to go anymore.

Have your mother go to court and file to get full physical (living) custody of you.

Since you are 15, the Judge will give heavy weight to your wishes in this matter.

But first, just have your mother tell your father she will take him to court, that might be enough for him to let you go. If he doesn’t, then your mouth should go to court.

as long as you are capable of making a reasonable judgement the judge will let you choose which parent you wish to live with.

you can actually do this yourself (even at 15) but it would be better if your mom filed for the 'amendment to custody' papers. you will visit with the judge and, as i said, if your capable of making the decision, he will let you decide.

HI,
I might add that your Mom should get a lawyer to handle this. In most states, the Court expects you to know all the Court's Rules and Procedures. She should talk with a lawyer experienced in child custody cases, ask his/her cost. In that way, you will probably be assured of having the custody in your Mom's favor. Since your Dad is not willing to talk about this, she may have a "fight" on her hands, and a lawyer can advise in that area as well.
