It is quite normal when you consider that you were "holding" and walking with her before she was born. Unfortunately, showing her who is boss at 8 weeks old will not serve that purpose. She is not trying to manipulate you.....that comes later....

By tending to her now, she will learn to trust that her needs will be met and will likely fuss less because of it.
Babies usually enjoy movement....you can try a sling or carrier so that your hands are free. This way she has her needs met and you can get things done that you feel you need to. She will move through this stage, it can be frustrating at times, but it does get better.
