Unfit mothers

I am wondering how I would go about getting custody of my nephew because my sister is an unfit mother. She is an alcoholic and abuses drugs. She is also on prescription meds for bipolar disorder while drinking and doing drugs. The combination of the drugs and alcohol with her prescriptions makes her pass out and she is unable to care for my nephew. He went into the hospital for emergency surgery and she had left the hospital before giving consent for the surgery because she was too drunk to deal with the situation. What can I do? I am afraid for his life.

Get an attorney and take the child as fast as you can.

get the police involved as soon as posible ur a good person thinking of him and get a lawyer also try 2 proove the mother is unfit and try ur best
