Sleep Issues!

Hi, my name is Andre and my fiancee's name is Sarah. We have 2 and 1 year old sons that have trouble sleeping. First, our 2 year old. His name is Cameron and he has been having sleep issues for over a year now. He falls asleep around 8 or 9pm, BUT wakes up violently screaming or very calm whining. Either way, he sleeps for 2-3 hours at a time and wakes up 3-5 times a night. We have tried Malatonin as well as children's Benadryl (both recommended by our pediatrician). Still, he DOES NOT sleep through the night. It is hard for us because I work overnights and Sarah is here alone with them. We REALLY need help!!!! I don't think it is night terrors because of the several ways he awakes at night. Now for Mason. He HAS to sleep in a completely dark room. But over the last couple weeks he has been waking up 2-3 times a week and he used to sleep 10-13 hours a night!!! We usually give him a bottle with warm water mixed with milk and he wil go back to sleep, BUT sometimes wakes up a couple more times. Can you PLEASE help us? We want both of them, especially Cameron, to get more sleep!! He gets VERY cranky and irritiable because of his lack of rest.
