    Sign over the rights of child?
    How do I sign over thet rights of my daughter that I have not seen or talk in the last past 7 years?My daughter lives with her mom in El Paso Tx, I live in Omaha Ne.

    1. Her mother gets remarried
    2. Her mother's new husband wants to adopt her.
    3. Adoption paperwork is filed.
    4. As part of the adoption process, you are asked to relinquish your parental rights.

    Other than that--forget it. YOU cannot sign away rights. Only a court can terminate rights, and they generally only do so to clear the way for an adoption.

    So---sorry. Keep paying your child support and go to court to get visitation rights.
