Be sure to establish a bed time routine, A warm bath, read her a couple of stories, and so on but keep it consistent.

This is easy yet hard, it will take a lot of patience from yourself and your husband and ear plugs! My darling daughter had this issue and cried so hard and long one night for 5 hours I thought I was losing my mind.

Step 1 . Bathe your daughter in a bath that includes lavender - let her play with her toys and be very calm.

Step 2 . Take her to bed at her normal time 7 o'clock at that age should do it , read her a story , stroke her hair , tuck her in and kiss her goodnight.

Step 3 . Walk away close the door leaving only a night light on if that!

Step 4. Should she cry close all doors between you both and leave her be ( she is testing you she knows that if she crys mum runs)

Step 5. if she gets out of bed - return her to bed, tuck her in and walk away - do this as many times as you have to it WILL pay off I did it 30 times one night.

You must remember your daughter has been on her own with you for 3 years and now sees the twins as something that takes your time and attention. You look exhausted in your picture and I feel for you as it is hard enough when one is a baby. Try to include your daughter in all you do get her to help with the diaper change ( i.e. hand you the nappy the clothe) get her to choose the babies clothes for the day she will soon feel important again and exhausted by the end of the day.

My daughter regressed when my son was born she was 4 and while she had been potty trained since 2 years old she suddenly started to wet herself when she was in peoples company. It was purely attention she felt left out as all anyone did was fuss over the baby, in the end I promised her a present if she showed me how grown up she was and stopped peeing herself when we were out in that manner. It worked and very quickly she was back to herself. Just keep reminding her what an important role being a big sister is make her feel special, that is all she is trying to achieve.

As for the twins get them into a rigid routine now up at a certain time bed at a certain time I learnt my lesson with my daughter did this with my son from birth who is now 7 and he still gets up at 6 and goes to bed at 7.30 I do not need to wake him or tell him twice to go to bed he has his own little alarm clock going on now and it is great!

Good luck and seek help from family & friends a well rested happy mum will give out relaxed vibes to her children, take time for you and your husband " adult time " babies should be settled at the latest 8 o'clock. Then it should be chill time!!
