having children

i just got married a week ago, my husband all ready has two children from his first marriage. i was wondering if we were going to have any of our own. i was told that i can have kids but nothing has happened yet. can you help.

You and your hsuband can go have medical tests to be sure there is no reason you can't. You can also try to look into various methods of having sex on your most fertile times.

You do know it takes longer than a week, right? (Sorry, I couldn't resist) But seriously, aren't you in kind of a hurry? I'd say take at least a year to settle into the marriage and get comfortable with each other. I suppose if you've been living together for years already and you're in your late thirties I could kind of understand where you're coming from, but otherwise, lighten up.
