    Father seeking full custody
Okay so here is my situation. I currently have a two year old daughter with a woman whome I dated a few years back. When she was pregnant I took the responsibility of bringing her home with me and taking care of our child even though the two of us were not in love. Things did not work out the way I planned so she decided to leave. She is a person whome is not very responsible, had no job, no education, and no parenting skills. She is now leaving with her new boyfriend (she is 20 by the way) who still lives with his parents and has my child sharing a two bedroom home with 6 other people. The conditions she lives in I believe are not suitable for a child and I have been thnking about fighting for full custody of my child. I currently pay child support but my babies mother is a very difficult woman to work with when it comes to seeing my child and it has become a rather frustrating situation. My babies mother is an illegal immigrant and I want to know if I have any rights over her or if there is a slight chance that a judge would grant me full custody of my child. I don't want to come off like a bad person, but my child is stuck in the middle of this and I want the best for my child. If anyone can give me any advice I would really appreciate it.

If you feel that your child needs you u could get full custody of her because every child needs there dad I have a son but he doesn't see his real dad because he is violent but he calls my new boyfriend daddy you should ask the mother of your child if she thinks its write to bring your child up in a crowded house because I don't think its write all she is thinking is free baby sitter just don't let her take your little girl away from you

I can only suggest talking to a lawyer, and proving a mother unfit, illegal or not is not easy, nor is it cheap, but start at the beginning with legal advice.

Go for full custody. Be able to document all of the evidence you've mentioned here.

This is what I would do.
    1. I would call cps and let them make a surprise visit, if what you say is true.
    2. If my name was on the birth certificate, On the day I picked her up I would walk into the court house and file for emergency, custody... In the cases I know about they usually give it for at least 3 days and then revisit the case. IN my county, to be paid that day.The filing fee is 150.00 from there on get ready you will have a fight to prove that you are the better person to raise your child is on. Also you will need a public notary to stamp those papers before the clerk accepts them... know where on is available before you go to the courthouse, they do not provide one.
Take a pen in my county they will not let you use theirs. Take someone to help you with the baby, you may be there for hours, park in a lot not in a meter space... it would be a shame to lose your place while putting change in a meter. Take diapers and food, drinks for the baby. Don't change her clothes or bath her let them see her as you got her. Get prepared to wait it can take hours after you get the paper work filled out.
You will need a stable income, place to live and someone to take care of the child while you are at work.
I say this if you truly think she is in danger...
