how is the police and he harassing you.

if there is legal custody and court ordered visitations there is little you can do, but if he is harrassing you, that can be stoped.
please tell us more about what the situation is all about

Nonpayment of child support is not sufficient grounds for you to withhold visitation. You could find yourself in jail for noncompliance. Keep going after the child support that he owes, and eventually he will likely find himself in jail if he does not pay. The system has a way of catching up with guys like that, but you will get in trouble if you try to make the decision on your own to stop his visits with the children. Let him have the visits, and just wait for the judge to get upset with him for not paying the support. I know it must be frustrating for you, but hang in there, and don't fall into the trap of letting him get you into legal trouble.

Izannah agrees: Yep...avoid the trouble you will have from withholding visits, big mistake that WILL backfire on you.

Child Support and Visitations are two separate issues! So if he is not paying he still has a right to exercise his visitation, and vise-versa.

nikosmom agrees: unfortunately this is true; child support doesn't "pay" for visitation
