Child abandonment

1 Answer I have had a little girl since she was three days old. Her mother left her with my husband and I. She needed to return to her hometown for a few months and didn't want to travel with an infant to get her other kids. She kept in contact for a few months. I have raised her for almost two years. We told the biological mom we wanted to adopt her since she knows us as mom and dad. She agreed to come back so we could see a lawyer together and she has been unreachable for over 7 months and we want to know how should we handle things from this point? |
