Can a 13 year old have sex with a 12 year old girl?
Me and my girlfriend are very close and she really wants to have sex the next time she sleeps over and she said she will get a condom for me. But I said no because we are to young. And now she isn't talking to me.

What should I do? So say yes to her, or speak to her about it?

In different countries there is a legal age like in the us it is fifth teen I believe , in Ontario it is 16 depends on the country so I would speak to her about it and if you feel your not ready just tell her

I'm going to be frank here. I don't believe your story for a moment. I can't imagine the parents of any 12 year old girl who would allow her to sleep over at any boy's house.

But in the unlikely chance there is some truth here; you are smart to say no. You both are too young. This girl sounds like a slut who will wind up in the gutter. You are better off without her. Besides which you are too young to be even dating.

If you are in the U.S. then it is illegal

Keep saying NO.This is just the type of girl who will be pregnant in a year or two, and just make sure its not yours.

Her parents are pretty dumb too, don't you think, to let her sleep over at her boyfriends house in the first place.

Not only her parents, but I can't accept his parents allowing it either. That's why I think this is a troll.

What you want doesn't matter. It's illegal.

Saying that you want to do it, and therefore you should be allowed, is like saying "I want that car, so I'm going to take it". You do know that stealing a car is illegal, and immoral, right? Well, same thing in this case.

There's a reason why there are legal age limits for sexual activity. At the age of 13 you're brain isn't fully grown yet, you're not capable of making decisions like this, so instead of just saying no, it was decided to take away your rights to make decisions that can greatly affect your life, because you're not ready to do it, no matter how smart you think you are, or how mature you think you are, your brain isn't ready to deal with this sort of decision making.

Keep your pants zipped, and wait until you're old enough to legally decide if this is a step you want to take. It only takes one time to make a baby, but that baby is forever, and I have yet to meet a 13 year old that's ready to take care of a child on his/her own.

Since the OP has not returned that reinforces my feeling of troll. I think he overplayed his hand by referring to sleepovers. Without that I might have believed him. So I'm closing the thread

But before I do, I want to comment on the above. Do you also want a child? Do you want to die in childbirth? NO ONE should engage in sexual intercourse unless they are physically, financially and emotionally prepared to have a child. You fail on all three counts. I hope you get this foolishness out of your head.
