Either you confront them or have your son do it if he's old enough. Firmly tell them that there's been a misunderstanding and to please drop it, and leave you alone. If they continue or it gets worse, let their parents know. (Again; I'm not sure how old they are so... ) if they're older, just call the cops. If they're younger, speak with their parents. I feel like the age matters in a situation like this. Kids can be really cruel so I think you need to approach things like this cautiously for the sake of your son and his reputation. You don't want him to get picked on at school being called a 'mama's boy' or something like that if he's old enough to settle this on his own. Obviously it would be a lot different if he were 8 years old and his mother stuck up for him. But if he's 16, (or around that age range, or even older) it could escalate making things a lot more worse. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck! :)
