8 yr old looking at porn

my 8 year old girl has been looking at porn websites behind my back, when I confronted her she said that she wanted to look at it so she didn't do what they were doing. she promised not to look at it again but she did just yesterday

At this point she's probably just curious. Most young children are. But continue to monitor her activities and block her access to porn so it doesn't become more of a habit that could lead to problems later.

Whatever happened to parental guidance?

Instead of letting her on the computer unsupervised, sit down and have a long talk with her about things kids her age should be doing.
