She just started crawling all over the place a couple weeks ago and she has had it since. I have burber carpet... What can I put on it or should I even put anything on it? To treat the skin I would suggest seeing a physician as it will more then likely need to be medicated. First getting the proper diagnosis and then the proper treatment. You won't know how long it takes until you get the medication and use it... it will vary in all probability depending on the severity of the skin condition.

I found a few sites in relations to the symptoms your child is having. As it goes for the rug; cover it with a big blanket - you can't stop her from running off the carpet but by placing the toys in the middle of the blanket you can help minimize the contact. It may be Eczema or dry skin with atopic tendency. I hope this helped.
