I didn't see a "sleeping disorder" category, so I'll ask my question under teen health since my son is a teen.
All his life, he makes the loudest groaning and moaning noises all night in his sleep. He seems to be crying in his sleep at times, other times he laughing, but for the most part he makes this long, loud moaning sound and it goes on and on. He has friends spend the night frequently because sometimes he's afraid to spend the night in his own room because we have ghosts in this house, but that's a whole nother story. Anyway, his friends complain that he keeps them up all night with these noises. He spends the night in our room, quite frequently because he say's there's someone in his room...ghosts again. So we have to be kept up with this moaning sound. What is it? why does he do that? is he dreaming?
