    What is causing the white spots on my daughters fingers?
    My daughter is 12 she has woke up yesterday and the tips of two of her fingers were white, burning and itching. Today its on the other hand. Can you tell me what might cause this?

    Has she ever been tested for either Raynauds disease or Raynauds Phenomenon.

    I do also - it can be incredibly painful. I also started showing symptoms as a child, am affected by cold but particularly by stress. There are medications available but I prefer to simply keep my fingers from getting cold - for example, wear mittens, I never handle frozen foods, that type of thing.

    I wish your daughter well - it can be very painful.
