Okay, my stepsister lives in Tennesee. Her and her husband and two daughters had been battling some sort of virus for the past few couple weeks. They said they were feeling better the other day and came here to visit us. The baby was still having the runs. I went out christmas shopping last night with my dad while my two girls were asleep and then we get a call from my stepmom that my 5 year old is throwing up. She threw up all on my bed and then went and threw up on her bed and I woke up like a bizillion times last night because shes upchucking and on top of that shes got the runs and boy its a foul smell. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it something thats going around lately?
Two weeks ago the nasty barfing virus or flu swept through our house and hit 7 of the 8 of us.
I'd advise them to get to the Dr. asap. If it's a virus, it will have to run its course, but if it's an infection of some sort that the Dr. IDs they can get an antibiotic for it.
In our case, it was a virus...so it just had to run it's course...
Well now my 6 year old has it. It is a virus so I guess that sucks. Im feeding them soup and saltines. I feel fine. Maybe I wont get sick I hope. Ill just blame the president if I do.

Dear, I hope you and yours will get over this soon. Unfortunately, those little things have the talent of adaptation and can crop up anywhere thru the air. Check out the site I included, it'll give you a few hints on what to do also. Alll the best, and Happy Holidays!
There's one that is here too, and after having it, wound up with pneumonia, so be careful out there people. This crap seems to survive in cold weather as well.
are you a native of Germany, My family was orginally from there years and years ago. There are still alot of people with our family name (Klughart) or
(Klughardtz) over there but we have little communitcation with any of them.

My name is short for Cheryon, without the two 'r's, it's pronounced share yan, so I shortened it. One of my current english speaking MDs taking care of me is named Klug, probably shortened too. My father's family name is Davidson, from Hazard, Kentucky, and my mother was a german. Unfortunately I stayed here for all the wrong reasons and should have left when she died, but such is life. The flu, virus, or any other disease does not care where you're from though, that I can tell ya!..
One word -ROTAVIRUS ! This is the worst virus I've ever encountered and it lasts forever. It is highly contagous, especially when people do not wash their hands. You throw up for about 12 hours ,then the diarrhea starts and lasts for days.A young child will get dehydrated easily, and will need IV fluids. We've had it two times, and pray its he last.
