    Treatment for Ringworm
My 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter just started Day Care and has contracted a patch of ringworm on her cheek, with some fine bumps around the area. It has been confirmed by her doctor that it is ringworm. She recommended Lotrimin Cream 3x a day. However every thing I have researched about Lotrimin is that is slow acting and might take weeks to clear up.

Does anyone have a natural method for treating ringworm? We are in the process of washing everything with hot water, this includes toys, linen, counters, everything. We are also changing her bed linens every day. We are approx 5 days into this ordeal. Can you help? We are trying to keep this from spreading to her scalp.

I would suggest to use the cream, natural methods are often much slower acting than prescription medicine. (Otherwise doctors would prescribe the natural medicine!)

Fresh garlic clove spilt in half aply directly to infected area, since she is so young just dab garlic quickly over area don't try to saturate because the garlic is so strong it could burn her even cause acid burns using too much, garlic is anti bactrial, anti viral, and raises your emuntity system, and anti inflammation, and lowers your clesteral. I hope this helps, have a wounderful day. God bless and protect you. Your newest friend Beverly Novak
