I don't want to scare you but you should get a blood test for the baby immediately... don't wait . You are correct to be concerned . Lyme is the most misunderstood disease in America today.
I know someone who has it. It doesn't go away easy if at all.If the baby was an adult I'd suggest you demand that the doctor begin an antibiotic regimin... But I am not familiar with how babies are treated .

Don't wait for a rash or other symptoms to develop . Get that blood test now !

Choose a doctor who has knowledge of the disease. Too many rely on the ridiculous things the CDC says about it . It is not to be trifled with .It is an insidious disease .

Ps... next time keep the ticks... it could help in a diagnostic.

Im wondering what can be done about these pesky little ticks in my yard. Ive pulled them off my kids and myself and my dog. My kids are not too happy to go outside and play anymore and It's a shame for such a lovely yard to go to waste with no one playing in it.
