the pill and periods

i started going on the pill 13 days ago on the first day of my cycle, as the doctor instructed, but my period is still going...it is never normally this long! its still moderately heavy. does anyone know why this could be happening? im so worried!

It is your body adjusting to the pill it will calm down once your body is used to the pill that you are taking.
But i will say if it continues and you feel confused by this then make an appointment with your dr and double check.

i used to be on the pill and that is normal to have your period longer and it will get better
