| | | byopsy spot? i was just wondering i went in for a gyno exam a while ago and had a byopsy done on a spot in me and i went for another exam on the first of aug. and she said the spot was moderate to sever what does that mean? also i had another spot in my recent exam and im starting to wonder what the spots are or what they could mean (HPV-Cance?) | | | | | | |

| They are showing precancerous changes. It could be from HPV or cancer. They will most likely have you do a LEEP (which I had done) or a cone biospy to remove the area. Other treatments are available you and your doctor can pick which will work best. If caught early the first surgrey should work and you will be fine. |

| surgery? i just got the byopsy and i have to go in 3 weeks for the results and she said if theres and other spot she has to use a laser didnt mention anything about surgery |

| Well it depends on the treatment...the laser treatment should be outpatient. A cone biospy would be surgrey. Didn't mean to scare you. |

| its ok im kinda chicken ive never had any surgery the worst thing i did was cut my finger in a meat slicer and i alomost got stiches but i cut the peice off so i couldnt stich it back so then i almost get a skin graft but i didnt even get that so im a surgery virgin lol i never even had a cavity |

| LOL well I can only speak of my experience..um the leep I will not lie was not the best experience in the world but I'm okay now. I haven't had an abnormal pap in almost 5 years. |

| wow think is too im more consirned because cancer is common in my family my grandma went to the doctors to see if it was heriditary or sumthing just so us grandkids could be on the look out for it but also im like 17 so im pretty young! |

| When I first had my biospy I was 20. Cancer runs in my family too. My was determine to be HPV that was turning into cancer. Just be thankful it was found early. If you plan on having children someday it is worth going thru this now. |
