    How do I get skinny again?
    I'm 14 years old and I need to loose weight. I'm 168cm and I weight 57.I don't know how to do it. I'm considering anorexia or bulimia. I want to eat healthy and exercise but I can never be bothered. I wouldn't normally post this on the internet but I can't tell my friends cose I'm scared of what they will think. Please help

    57kg = 125 pounds. You sound perfectly healthy to me. There should be no reason for you to lose weight. At your height your weight is perfect.

    At 14 I don't think you should be worrying about weight issues. Your only young still and your body is still changing. You sound perfectly fine.
    Please don't consider any of the eating disorders.

    Your weight is perfect for your height and age. Don't try anorexia or bulimia. These disorders can have long term damage to your body that would be far worse than this little body image issue you have. I always find that when I gain a few extra pounds or am unhappy about something on my appearance, I go to the mall and buy myself something real pretty.

    Becoming anorexic or bolemic will cause you to lose a lot of muscle. You aren't going to look the way you want to at all. Also if you begin to eat normaly again you are going to gain more weight back because your metabolism will go down. If you become bolemic your teeth will rot from your stomach acid to. It's a stupid thing to do anyway. I do pilates exercises and it tones my body really well. Try it. You can use the YouTube pilates videos. It may seem corny but it's as dumb as being anorexic or bolemic. Seriously, it's the worst thing you could do to lose weight.

    You sound perfectly normal to me. There is 2 ways to lose weight lose fat or lose muscle. Don't diet your are perfectly fine all you will do is probably lose muscle and be less athletic. And don't try anorexia or bulimia. If you really want to lose 2 or 3 pounds eat regularly but exercise more so you lose fat not muscle.

    Girl! I'm almost 13 and I'm 140 pounds. I'm fat. Today a boy called me fat and another called me pregnant. I have problems you don't.

    Think about this... you can't be bothered to take care of your health by eating a little better and getting some exercise, but you will take the time to put yourself through anorexia or bulimia which have the potential to harm your heart, teeth, hair, looks, hormones, immune system, periods, etc.?

    You will be so much better off, especially entering further into your teen years, to just make some simple changes in what you eat and exercising. You don't have to go over the top with it. Maybe for every not so good food you eat, make sure you have two servings of something healthy. Serving sizes are actually quite small. Have the foods you enjoy, just don't have quite as much or as often.

    Go for a walk a few times a week, crank your music up loud and dance for awhile, help around the house, wash the car, work in the garden, get a friend to go on a bike ride with you once in awhile, offer to walk a neighbor's dog, do some crunches or use some free weights while you watch TV, whatever... it doesn't have to take a lot of time.
    You are at an excellent weight for your height... besides, it's better to focus on how you feel in your clothes than what a number says on a scale.
