I don't know if they are but I had some and they didn't do a thing for me.
I heard the natural hoodia you chew is the only ones that are affective.

At thirteen your body is still growing and changing. If you are concerned about your body, you should speak to your doctor to get on a healthy food regimen and exercise program that is good for people your age. Taking pills or trying fad diets is risky for people of any age, but you're so young it's hard to tell what kind of effects they might have. You're best off to eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly.

I wouldn't mess around with them. Anything that affects your metabolism in an unnatural way can be dangerous and lead to long-term problems down the road.

I have to agree with the previous posts. The best option is to eat healthy, drink plenty of water, and exercise. Personally, I have tried the hoodia pills. and they didn't work for me. Talk to your doctor about what your ideal weight for your heights and age should be. If the doctor feels that you are overweight, then he/she can help you set up a diet exercise plan to help you become more healthy. Remember that as you go through puberty, your hips will get wider, etc. and that doesn't mean you are getting fat, just turning into a woman.

no, 13 year old should not be doing any diet pills or fad diets, if there is a seroius need for weight loss they need to do it under doctors advice, since they are still growing and need many things for proper health.

There is no quick weight loss for a 13 year old or a 30 year old, that really works.

The thing with Hoodia is the bushmen ate the actual plant to so they could survive on long trips in the jungle. They attributed their ability to endure and suppress their appetite to the Hoodia but it may not have had anything to do with the Hoodia.
The Hoodia they make into pill form may not even contain the active ingredient and it could possibly contain other diet ingredients that may be harmful.
