hives or bites?

okay so ive had these hive like things spreading on my body for about 3 weeks. im not sure if they are hives or bites. if they itch pretty badly and are everywhere but mostly around my ankles and stomach is that a symptom of something. could it also be fleas or something? all i know is that they are little bumps, reddish and itch really, really, badly. and i cant go to a doctor because i dont have a health card in the province i live in. im trying to get one however im not old enough to mail it so my dad has to go and sign off on it and he is too busy drinking with his friends to help. any advice?

Can you take a picture (close) and post it? It might help.

When I have been bitten by fleas it itches for a short time. When I have hives, it itches, but the hive and itch usually go away within an hour.

Mosquito bites itch for days on my skin, but I'm allergic.

Maybe you are allergic to fleas? Around the ankles sounds right, but on your stomach, I don't know.

Hives would be all over. This sounds like chiggers or maybe fleas. Have you walked though weeds and brush lately? Do you bathe daily and wear clean clothes (socks especially) every day? Do you have dogs or cats with fleas?

I don't know anything about bed bugs, but DON'T itch, maybe you are spreading it by itching. Get some Calamine lotion and dab it on to stop the itch and see what happens.
Clean them real good and maybe an antibacterial lotion first.

Maybe you can rub up against your dad and he will get it also and then he might put the drink down and get the cards for both of you.
