I had unprotected sex on the third day of my period. Could I be pregnant?

It is unlikely that you would become pregnant, but it is not impossible. It would depend on when you happen to ovulate. You will need to wait until your next period is due and see what happens.

To lessen the chances of an unplanned pregnancy, be sure to use birth control, preferably two forms (something for you and a condom for your partner), every time you engage in sex.

Since this was posted in the Child and Teen Health section, odds are you are not really old enough to have and raise a child, so consider not having sex until you are in a position financially, emotionally, and physically to where you could adequately raise a child. At the very least, be smart about taking care of yourself and be protected.

I know that sometimes having sex while on your period can stop or slow down your normal cycle.
It may also be the fact that if you are under a lot of stress it could make your period irragular.
Ask your doctor for a birth control that can keep you regulated for each monthly cycle.
I've had this problem before and it goes away.
If you are scared that you may be pregnant take a test to be safe.

i had unprotected sex while i was on my 3 day period its been three weeks and my next cycle is not till nov 10 what im asking could i get pregnant ive been getting some of the symptoms such as tender breast, nauseous, always hungry and going to the bathroom should i wait to see if my next period to come than take a test?? i already have a 2 year old so ....? please help!!
