gaining height!

hello ,
i just want to ask if a 17 years old boy can still gain height, actually im 176cm and im wondering if i can grow taller. and are there any ways i can help myself grow taller?

It varies from person to person. Have you experienced your growth spurt yet? At 176 cm., you probably have, in which case you probably won't get much taller. But if you had a late growth spurt or are still in the midst of yours, then you might have some growing left to do. As for me, I had a fairly early growth spurt (around 14 ; actually it started a bit sooner) so I was pretty much done growing by the time I reached 16.

well thanks for your answer it really helped.... actually i am not the kind of the boys that grows fast since 15 and 16 i had a slow maturity at the level of height and sexual organs and glands....my facial hair is still weak but growing ....so what i want to know is how many cm(or inches)i can still gain if i experienced my growth spurt!!!

That is impossible to tell as everyone is different. Look at your parents, your aunts, uncles, grandparents....chances are you will be similar in height to them.

You could grow 5 inches, or you could have stopped growing all together. We can't say for sure.....Genetics plays a big role in height.

well thanks very much for your help..... my aunts and grangparents are ranging between 185-187cm so i have that chance of getting taller!!!!
