You should be alarmed that you are sexually active at 16! You should be alarmed that you having sex with someone you are no longer in a relationship with!

And yes you should be alarmed that you might be pregnant. ANY time there is penile insertion you risk pregnancy. You can reduce the risk but not eliminate it.

NO ONE should engage in sexual intercourse unless they are physically, emotionally and financially prepared to have a child.

I agree with Scott, first if you are still bleeding, it is most likely not pregnancy but perhaps some infection or other trama and you need to see your doctor.

There are three main things to be aware of.
    1. Obviously, its possible for you to become pregnant any time you have sex, especially without being on birth control.
    2. Since you've experienced an ectopic pregnancy before, your odds are increased for that happening again (I'm sure it was an experience you wouldn't want to repeat)
    3. Not taking the pill reliably will mess with your cycles which could cause unexpected bleeding and/or ovulation.

It might be too early to test but the only way to know is by waiting around a few months or by taking an HPT.
