Firstly, let me say that I am happy you are taking an active role in your baby's health.

Now, when you give her a bath, make sure it is in cool water, warm/hot water only exacerbates the symptoms (makes them worse). Next, while Aveeno is good, if you look on the ingredients I bet there is alcohol of one kind or another listed. This tends to dry skin out even more.

What I have used is called Eucerine. You can get it either in a tube or a tub (like a little butter tub). Get the one in the tub. Bathe your baby and put this on the spots rather thinckly. You should only have to do this once or twice a day. It has worked wonders with my son.
