12 year old with fever 102

I have a 12 Year old son who is running a 102 fever with a headache and vomiting. He started the fever yesterday morning around 5 am the vomiting did not start until last night about 11 pm?

And you have not taken them to the doctor yet because of WHY? were you waiting for 105?

Are you treating this with Tylenol and Motrin? Sounds like a flu to me.

Treating him with Tylenol and the fever goes down. Has been able to keep some fluids down but no solid food. I have spoken to a doctor since I posted my question and am told to wait and see if other symptoms show up. For now keep him comfortable and keep pushing the fluids.

My 10 month old has had a fever of 102.2 (taken under her arm) for past 2 hours even after Tylenol it is still 101.7.
