Can someone please explain these questions to me?

My parts 1 and 2 of this assignment were about Dalton's Atomic Theory, and Thomson's Cathode Ray.
However my part 3 is about Rutherford's Experiment. I've tried looking up on Google, and trying to understand the theory but for some reason I'm just having a lot of trouble.

Here are my questions for the Rutherford Experiment:

a. What kind of results should Rutherford have gotten if the atom did NOT have most of the mass in the nucleus--that is, if most of the atom was not empty space?

b. What kind of results should Rutherford have gotten if the atom did NOT have all of the positive charge concentrated in the nucleus?

c. How did Rutherford contribute to an even better model of the atom?

I have studied that long time back. So here is my thought, protons are positively charged and electrons negatively. It is the mass of atom which keeps protons close to the centre. If there would not have been enough positive charge at centre then it means the mass is low and electron and proton might be revolving in different orbits around nucleus. Which also means the entire structure of that particular element would have been changed.
Then there are neutrons which are neither positive or negative in the nucleus. Even if atom would not have all mass in the centre, neutron still would have been at the nucleus.
If the concept of God particle would have been used the atom model must have been better. I read that God particle has certain mass and scientist suggested that if that mass would have been less or more than(the present mass), the destruction, I guess black hole would have not been created in the process. Which mean that God particles has a specific mass which effects the atom in a particular way.
