CH3COOH (acetic acid, or ethanoic acid) is a weak acid.
HCl is a strong acid.
Now, to explain why is that so will require much more to learn.
Ethanoic acid is found in vinegar. I don't think that people will use a strong acid in food. However, you have HCl in bleaching agents, to remove stains that go difficultly with water alone.
