Pond Chemistry

My garden is irrigated by water that comes from a bore to a pond, where it is treated with ozone to clean it up. The problem is the pH is 8.5 to 9.0. (Not good for Aussie native plants!) How can I lower the pH and buffer it to remain there, while still using ozone clarification?
