    10ml graduated cylinder vs 100ml graduated vs beaker
    Which type of glassware--the 10-mL graduated cylinder, the 100-mL graduated cylinder, or the beaker--has the least amount of uncertainty? Explain.

    The graduated cylinder is much more accurate than a beaker. There are two reasons for this. First, they really don't take any pains to make sure that the marks on the sides of beakers (if there are any) are accurate. Second, the graduated cylinder usually has a smaller diameter than the beaker. As such, the height column of liquid can be read more accurately.

    The 10 mL graduated cylinder has the smallest diameter and, therefore, is the most accurate -- for the reason I stated above.
