i have switched the sim card between phones but now i have tried to switch my tmobile sim card to a cingular phone and now its ask for a subsidy code....please assist....

Some cell phones can't be unlocked to be used with other providers. Your model may be one of them. You can try Google to see if you can come up with a solution.
