unlock/subsidy codes

i have a motorola v180 cell phone . My provider was cingular.Now it is Tmobil. I ruined my tmobil phone so i tool the sim card out and put it in the old cingular phone but when i power up it asks for the subsidy code. I am told by Motorola that the subsidy code is different than the unlock code but cingular tells me they are the same. Does anyone have the code for the v180? thanks

Time to contact your phone supplier and ask them.

as i work for cingular i can tell you we wont unlock any phone. the quickest way to get the unlock code is by doing so online. you will need your imei and a credit card and everyone will charge you

The code can be generated. And most companies like 3, vodafone do it. I am not sure about cingular.
