Is anyone out there particularly knowledgeable about programs that allow your phone to use ringtones made for other phones? I want to put the theme from "Bubble Bobble" (an old school nintendo game) on my motorola cell phone. I found a cool one, but it's only for Nokia phones. i heard there are programs that can change the format. i'm not that computer savvy. please help. thanks.
No,those phones are little computers that play their own format. There might, though, be providers of tunes for your format. Try googling for "your cell phone model"AND"ring tones
If the phone can use MIDI files for ringtone, try signing up for http://www.3gupload.com
You will be able to upload a MIDI you find on the net and then download it to your phone.
