Okay, basically I lost my cell phone in school, and I don't know where it is. I don't know if someone stole it or it's somewhere else. Can you track a phone without using the police? And how? I know my cellphone is on but i put it on silence before i went to school. I keep calling it but no one answers. I also leave text messages to notify the person whose cell phone it is. I have posted it in the school's announcements and traced every path i took. I basically did everything i could, but i want to know if i can track it. PLEASE help me. If you know anything about tracking a phone. Its an LG. With Alltel Service.

You did all you can do. There is no need to tell the police, they can not track it either.

As curly said, you call and cancell that service and then just have to get a new phone.
