Blackberry Curve 8330 shuts off when charged

My girlfriends 8330 Curve shuts off after recieving a full charge. The only way to get it to reboot is remove and replace the battery. Any suggestions?

How long has she had the phone for?

Is it still under warranty?

Is she on a plan?

My suggestion would be to take it down to the place she bought it from and get them to see if they can fix it.

Whatever you do don't do anything that will void the warranty if it still has one, you are better off getting it sent away to be repaired if it is faulty. She will be without a phone for a while but you can pick up cheap ones from supermarkets in the mean time.
