You most likely have two different problems here assuming that your CD drive is internal, your CD ROM drive and your USB ports. (printer & camera) Mx50 is your monitor model, not your computer model.

Have you tried other CD's in the drive?
Have you checked Device Manager?
(In the Control Panel select System then the Hardware Tab and then Device Manager)
Are there any red x's or yellow !'s on there?
You should also check your BIOS to make sure that the drive is enabled, you can also check your USB ports while you're in there.
If all that checks out open the case and make sure that the cables are all on tight.
If that checks out you probably have a bad drive.

The printer and camera <might> be due to disabled ports or a bad cable but most likely they're due to improperly installed drivers. Have you been able to use either before?
