wall outlet to cd drive???

please i need help to connect the wall outlet to a cd drive, i was thinknin about puttin it in my car, but i have no idea how to, can someone please help me it would really REALLY help, ive been lookin for like the past year and i havent found anything

I remember reading how someone managed to mod their CD player to work with the DC plug in a car. I don't rember where to find the instructions--I'll take a look and see if I can find it again.
