Sony DVP-CX995V line across the screen

Hi i've had the Sony DVP-CX995V for over 4 years now and about just 4 months ago, while i was watching a movie a line went across the entire footage of the movie, i went to other movies and it did the same thing. i thought i was the movies that were causing the problem but no, i took my dvd player to a technician and he said internally there was no problem with it. Please help |

I have two Sony dvp-cx995v multi-disc dvd players and both Give the error message "cannot read disk". One has been working For about a year and the other for 3 months. Now they both just give This error message for all DVD's Has anyone had this experience? Thanks

Power not turning on for sony dvp-cx995v multi-disc dvd player
I have a 2 year old Sony KDL 40 XBR3 which will not display the HD signal from my COMCAST box. Also, it will frequently not display anything when I switch from the HD channels to the SD channels. If I turn the TV off then on again, the picture will return and I can switch back to the HD channels...
