saying cd drive is corrupted or missing

i have a lite-on comdo sohc-4832k and i have uninstalled and reinstalled it any everything but it still says that its missing or corrupted code 39, someone suggested that it maybe a malosic or something can anyone help me. please.

any new software installed recently?

this will usually address and resolve this issue (39)
-What you are looking for if you do the manual fix is the upperfilters and lowerfilters or you can try the download fix there that will do it for you

Upperfilters/LowerFilters
Your CD drive or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

Removing the upper and lower filters will not effect anything if this does not work
