problems burning cd

When itry to burn a cd my drive wont read my disc but i checked and the driver is capabke of reading them. please help

Surely the disc is blank when you try to burn them??? Or do you mean afterwards?

Make sure that your CD drive is "CD-RW", Insert a blank CD, Open any burning software e.g Nero or NTI, Choose the type of disc you want to burn, add the data on the disc and then burn
