i have a 2 year old female cat, and her daughter who is 9 months old, jinx(mum) took about 6 months to stop hissing at sachi (daughter) she would show her teeth and paw at sachi whenever she came near her, but lately she seems alot more relaxed, and doesnt mind her being around so much, i was just wondering if this was insecurity, but now she realises sachi isnt going anywhere and just tolerates her being around. The thing is both cats are really lovin, ive had no other problems with them at all, therye really good. i was wonderin what might happen though if i get another cat, especially one jinx doesnt know at all, especially the way she behaved with her own offspring, i think sachi would just take it all in her stride, but jinx is a different matter all togethor, any advice anyone?
