When mom has had enough she will wean him, just keep placing him at the feed bowl with the other kittens he will figure it out. they are smarter than you think they are.

We're having difficulties too with the weaning process. He just started to lick the stuff off of our fingers, but we're hopeful. I think they let us know when they are ready too. I'd rather try to get him to do it on his own with our nudging and love at same time. Hoping this will also prevent the suckling much later in life.

Wish us luck!
